Another killer edition of the Bike Shed Show in the bag! Every year seems to outdo the last, and we had a great time chatting to riders, builders, suppliers…the whole shebang. We took three custom built PCC bikes along with us (plus something a little different), and each of those will be treated to a Full Factory build page in due course. Sit tight for those, but for now, we’ve pulled together a few of our favourite snaps from the weekend.
The stars truly aligned this year: we were able to place not one but two Midnight Series bikes side-by-side on our stand. This gave everybody a chance to see how they stacked up against each other, Gen3 R9T vs R12 NineT. Having taken a quick straw poll of the people who swung by, it looks like a dead heat. The ‘sportier’ design of the new R12 NineT chassis and seamless lines of the tank drew a lot of attention, but plenty of folk are loyal to the classic design of the R9T that we have all come to know and love. Even the PCC crew couldn't pick an outright winner. After last year’s R12 Street Ride build, we can be confident that the R12 Series bikes are a frankly awesome platform for custom work, and are proving just as popular with the moto community as the retired R9T models.
This was also the fourth year we showcased a PCC Muscle Series build, and the Tactical Muscle may well be the most popular incarnation yet. It ticks so many boxes on the custom bike wish list: yellow lighting, full black-out kits, a showering of our in-house Pier City Components, plus the fan-favourite bespoke leatherwork.
We treated the Bike Shed masses to something extra special this year, too. On top of the usual custom-built bikes covered in PCC’s metaphorical fingerprints (we polish up that paintwork very carefully), we unveiled the brand-new BMW R12 G/S. We were incredibly fortunate to be offered the opportunity by BMW Motorrad UK to show off the new machine at one of its first global public viewings. We’re already in love with the new model and can’t wait to get our teeth and all the tools stuck into it. Serious plans for customising are under way, as well as developing some new parts and accessories of our own.

Back at the start of the year, we set ourselves the target of taking three brand new PCC products to the Bike Shed show and, happily, we nailed it. You can find the new R9T Gen3/R12 headlight cowl, R12 NineT undertray and R9T undertray on our website. The eagle-eyed amongst you will also spot another hot-off-the-press product on the MR3.0, the new Wunderlich R12 seat cowl. The first example into the UK, it was vital to bringing that build together, and we’re certain it’s going to prove a very popular product with R12 NineT owners going forward.

As per, massive thank yous are due to Gareth, Vikki, Dutch, Ellie, G and the rest of the team from The Bike Shed – not to mention the volunteers who helped us load in and out. We cannot rate this show highly enough and it wouldn’t be the same without their positive attitude and support. We’re already making plans for 2026.
We want to also give a shout-out to BG Motorsport and Öhlins for getting an exclusive Blackline R12 shock over to us in time for the show. In addition, Valkyrie & DNA once again played a vital role in the ambitious bikes we put together this year. Thanks guys!
