Pier City Custom BMW R9T Air Box Removal Kit Without Cover

We developed this kit as part of assisting our custom builds in house and figured that if it helped us then it would probably help others with their customising, too. Please do give us a shout if we can help with any questions you may have. The most common query is whether we remap after fitting. In all honesty, we have never had to worry. Any differences when riding have been negligible, however please do note that fitting the kit is an aesthetic mod not a performance upgrade. If you're looking for extra power or you are fitting our kit with a full exhaust system then we would recommend our electronics packages or a fuelling unit like the Rapid Bike EVO or Rapid Bike SMART, available on our webshop.

Once you remove the right hand side BMW RnineT scoop, the brackets will be exposed. We recommend purchasing a carbon cover kit or our Pier City Air Intake Scoop to cover these brackets.

Three holes will need to be drilled in the bottom of the tank bracket in order to fit. This will not affect the tank usage in any way.
