PIER CITY CYCLES TUTORIAL - Checking the Oil Level on the BMW R9T

Welcome to the Pier City Cycles Tutorial Series. In these videos, we hope to show you a range of jobs or mods that you can carry out on your BMW R9T or R18. We hope to cover those simple jobs which new owners might not feel confident in asking, all the way through to the signature mods we use to transform our builds.

In this tutorial, we'll show you how to check the oil level correctly on your BMW R nineT. This is a vital part of motorcycle ownership and the R9T has quite a specific procedure to follow. BMW quote that a new bike can use up to 1 litre per 1000 miles so it's really important to keep an eye on the oil level.
